Facilities at The Sands Care Home, Morecambe
Rooms
All of the single rooms at The Sands are mostly en-suite, which have been tastefully decorated and have colour T.V. and nurse call. If residents wish, they can bring some of their personal items of furniture.
Meals
We offer a very extensive menu. Residents have a say when planning these, and may take meals into their rooms when required. Special Diets are catered for. Click Here for a sample menu.
Health Services
Residents may remain under the care of their own GP. We also have a resident hairdresser, chiropodist and arrangements can also be made for opticians, dentist etc. Religious services are held in the home.
Laundry
All laundry services are carried out on the premises, apart from dry cleaning. It would be helpful if residents clothes were marked prior to admission.
Visiting
Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at any time throughout the day. We do ask that residents are not disturbed at mealtimes.
